Tonight’s Champions League last-16 second-leg tie between Barcelona and Manchester City could be a bit of a classic as the Spanish side are back to full strength and City are only missing Martin Demichelis through suspension. Last month’s 2-0 score line in the 1st- leg makes Barcelona favourites but there’s no certainty that they’ll get through to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

With the match being shown live on Sky Sports 1 from 7pm, you’ll need a Sky subscription to watch it on your TV. You could listen to live commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live or watch the match for free online at Streamhunter.eu and Rojadirecta.me.

At the weekend, Man City lost to Wigan in the FA Cup so there’s no chance that the boys from the Etihad Stadium can do the quadruple, but the triple remains a possibility. Unfortunately, Manuel Pellegrini starts a two-match touchline ban tonight so his assistant Ruben Cousillas will stand-in for him.

Cousillas is confident that this won’t hold the side back: "I know the way he thinks. I know practically everything to do with the decisions that have to be made,” he said. "I know he has got full confidence in me and if it has got to be done I am up to the challenge."

Barcelona’s coach Gerardo Martino isn’t taking any heart from the situation that Pellegrini finds himself in or his side’s 2 goal advantage. “If we have that 0-2 score in mind, we are risking the whole tie. We have to think of this game as the second half of a game and we are still goalless. We can't sit back and wait and see what happens.”

Perhaps the Barca boss has been back through the club archives to the 1984/85 season when the Spanish giants let a 2-0 lead slip during a tie with Metz and were knock out of the European Cup Winners' Cup.
