West Ham beat Stoke 2-1 at Upton Park

Stoke City imploded at Upton Park this afternoon losing 2-1 against West Ham, but the game will be remembered for Potters' striker Ricardo Fuller striking team-mate Andy Griffin and being shown a red card.

Abdoulaye Faye had given Stoke an early lead before the under fire Carlton Cole equalized early in the second half. Tony Pulis' side looked set to pick up a point until former Valencia hit man Diego Tristan stole the points for the Hammers with a deflected shot.

The defeat leaves Stoke in the bottom three while West Ham are now up to tenth place easing some of the pressure on under fire manager Gianfranco Zola.
