West Bromwich Albion beat Manchester City 2-1 this afternoon to heap the pressure on Mark Hughes. Despite being the richest club in the Premier League, City have now slipped into the bottom three.
Roman Bednar was the hero for the Baggies putting an injury-time header past Joe Hart in the City goal to hand Tony Mowbray's team their first win in eleven matches. Luke Moore had put West Brom ahead before Felipe Caicedo equalized for the Blues.
But Bednar's late goal meant there was no way back for City and Hughes could soon be the third former Manchester United player to part company with a Premier League in the space of a month.
