Wenger confident of Arsenal win over Villareal

Arsene Wenger is in a confident mood ahead of Arsenal's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Villareal tonight at the Emirates. The Gunners drew 1-1 in Spain last week and have recorded five wins on the bounce in the Premier League.

Arsenal have also been boosted by the return of captain and midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas as well as star striker Emmanuel Adebayor from injury. With an away goal in the bag from last week, Wenger's side are firm favourites to progress to the semi-finals where they would meet either Manchester United or Porto.

While the Gunners will be without defenders William Gallas and Gael Clichy as well as first choice keeper Manuel Almunia through injury, Wenger still believes that his team have the upper hand thanks to Adebayor's vital goal last week: "We have scored that away goal so it could have an importance at the end of the day."
