Wales beat England 23-15 at the Millennium Stadium
Wales beat England 23-15 in the RBS 6 Nations this afternoon at the Millennium Stadium. Martin Johnson's team produced a much improved performance compared to last week's shocker against Italy, but ultimately came up short.
Stephen Jones was the hero for Wales, punishing England's lack of discipline with the boot by notching a total of five penalties. Winger Leigh Halfpenny also contributed a long-range penalty as well as a try to seal the win for Wales.
Despite scoring two tries through Paul Sackey and Delon Armitage, England conceded too many penalties and picked up two yellow cards. Mike Tindall sat out ten minutes in the first half while Andy Goode's yellow card in the second half proved to be decisive allowing Wales to push home their advantage.
Although England lost the match they can take a lot of positives out of the 80 minutes. The recalled Joe Worsley was the best player on the pitch and England showed that their backs can create and finish when given quality ball.
