United to replace Ronaldo with Kaka

Manchester United are reported to be lining up a deal to bring Kaka to Old Trafford in the event that Cristiano Ronaldo moves to Real Madrid during the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, representatives from the Premier League club are expected to meet with Milan over the next two weeks to discuss the possible terms of a deal to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford.

Real Madrid are confident of bringing Portugal captain Ronaldo to the Bernabeu at the end of the current season for a transfer fee of £75m. Kaka is believed to be the perfect replacement for C-Ron.

Milan looked set to offload the 27-year-old World Cup winner to Manchester City during the January transfer window, so United know that Milan are willing to sell the playmaker. Kaka has also spoken about his desire to play in the Premier League in the past. Watch this space.
