United hammer Fulham 4-0 in the FA Cup
Manchester United hammered Fulham 4-0 this afternoon at Craven Cottage to advance to the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Victory was never in doubt for Sir Alex Ferguson's side who are still on course for the quintuple.
Carlos Tevez was the hero on the day for United with a well taken first-half brace. The Argentina striker opened the scoring with a header on 20-minutes before doubling his side's lead with a stunning second goal. Taking the ball on the half-way line Tevez powered his way past two defenders before launching an unstoppable shot past Mark Schwarzer in the Fulham goal.
Wayne Rooney and Park Ji-Sung completed the rout with second-half goals after Fulham's rearguard had crumbled. Ferguson was able to leave Cristiano Ronaldo out of the match-day squad ahead of Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Inter Milan.
