Tickets for final champions league game in London England

Tickets for final champions league matchup between Spanish giants Barcelona and English giants Manchester Utd are sure to be like gold dust in the run up to the big game. The final takes place at Wembley stadium in London on May 28th at 7.45pm local time.

Both teams look certain to win their respective leagues and have been the top teams in Europe for the last 5 years. United had an easy route to the final against Schalke whereas Barcelona came through a controversy packed game against bitter rivals Real Madrid.

Wembley will host 86,000 fans for the showpiece event with each finalist guaranteed to be allocated 25,000 tickets each for there supporters.

Applications started on the 6th May for the 25,000 tickets allocated to the Man UTD supporters, with the most expensive seat costing £300. The cheapest ticket being £80 and a three per cent charge will be added for people paying by card.

There were four price categories available for the general public:

Category 1: 300.00 GBP

Category 2: 225.00 GBP (Youth Package: 338.00 GBP)

Category 3: 150.00 GBP

Wheelchair: 80.00 GBP

Administration fees were: 26.00 GBP

Pricing for the final has been criticized with a Man Utd spokesman saying: "We all knew it was coming after expensive tickets for the finals in Moscow and Rome but it remains a scandal. When fans have already shelled out a packet over a long season, and at a time when many are making season-ticket renewals, it is a real strain for many."

UEFA president Michel Platini echoed those feelings and incredibly admitted they got the pricing wrong.

Whether they got the pricing wrong or not, it is one game any football fan would want to see. Utd will be looking for revenge after Barcelona beat them 2-1 in the final 2 seasons ago in Rome.
