The worst Premiership XI of all time

It's the time of year that many a young man's mind is turning to Fantasy Football, and trying to unearth those gems: players who cost peanuts, but play like heroes. Alas they're all too rare. Instead it's easy to find the overpaid, the overrated, the mercenary and the just plain rubbish.

It'd be easier to pick the worst eleven players right? Well that's just what the subscribers at Top Up TV have done. They've picked a line-up of the worst Premiership XI of all time, and it's a doozy.

It goes like this: Man U's hapless Massimo Taibi in goal with a back four of Titus Bramble, Jean-Alain Boumsong, Darren Peacock and Abel Xavier (Newcastle fans will tell you that that's pretty accurate). A midfield of Eric Djemba-Djemba, Luke Chadwick and Carlton Palmer isn't going to scare anyone. Lee Dong-Gook, Thomas Brolin and Diego Forlan make up a singularly toothless attack. It's enough to give any football fan nightmares.
