Spurs set to sign Giovani dos Santos and Richard Dunne
After famously nearly signing Rivaldo it is now being reported that Spurs have signed Barcelona wonderkid Giovani Dos Santos for £12million. The Mexican international, dubbed the new Ronaldinho was being chased by Manchester City and Inter Milan but seems to have been swayed by the possibility of working with Spurs' boss Juande Ramos at White Heart Lane.
It also resembles something of a coup for Tottenham fans as Chelsea have had two attempts to sign the 19-year-old turned down in the last four years. Giovani, who can play on either flank or up front, had been offered the chance to go out on loan from Barcelona but has decided to leave the Catalan club.
Manchester City captain Richard Dunne is reportedly undergoing a medical before sealing a move to join his international team mate Robbie Keane at Spurs. Both signings illustrate Tottenham's ambition under Ramos while the loss of Dunne is yet another bitter pill for City fans to swallow after their team's best season for years.
