Spurs hammer Middlesbrough 4-0

Spurs hammered Middlesbrough 4-0 at White Hart Lane last night to ease their relegation worries for the time being. Robbie Keane got his first goal for Tottenham since returning from Liverpool when he opened the scoring on nine minutes.

The Ireland striker latched onto a Michael Dawson header to fire past Brad Jones. Goal shy Roman Pavlyuchenko also got his name on the score sheet in the first half when he finished off a move started by Luka Modric.

Winger Aaron Lennon heaped the misery on Boro with a second half brace. Both goals were set up by Robbie Keane who is playing as if his six month spell at Liverpool was nothing but a bad dream.
