Spurs beat Liverpool at White Hart Lane
Spurs put a huge dent in Liverpool's title chances with a last gasp 2-1 win at White Hart Lane yesterday. Harry Redknapp has now picked up seven points in three games since he took over from Juande Ramos last week.
Liverpool went ahead on three minutes through a Dirk Kuyt strike after some good work by Robbie Keane. Rafa Benitez's side seemed to be coasting but spurned at least ten good chances to seal the win.
It was all looking good until Jamie Carragher scored an own goal from a David Bentley corner. With the rain bucketing down, Roman Pavlyuchenko was on hand to turn home a Darren Bent pass after Reina had saved well from Bentley sending Spurs' fans wild.
