Apparently, according to one of his players in an interview with The Telegraph recently, Roy Keane doesn’t do small talk with his players. Or any talk, really. He just kicks chairs and throws things instead. Allegedly. Of course, if you’re reading this, Roy (he’s a fan of Sports Scene), we don’t mean anything by reporting this.
We just wondered how you would tell, say, both your centre backs to go up for corners if you’re at home and a goal down? Would you work out a series of semaphore-like kicks of various types of chair, stool and poof to get your message across? Or would you throw certain things in a particular order at a particular player to let them know what you wanted them to do?
We’re only asking.
