Scolari denies rumours of infighting at Chelsea
Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has denied reports of infighting at the club following an emergency team meeting held on Tuesday.
A number of newspapers have claimed that Big Phil read the riot act to the squad before a number of senior players singled out striker Didier Drogba for criticism over his recent conduct.
But Scolari was quick to dismiss the reports and underlined that the meeting had had a positive effect on team morale ahead of Saturday's FA Cup match with Southend: "Before we went to training, we had a good team meeting." The World Cup winning coach continued: "Since Sunday I've had the chance to watch again the Fulham game and yesterday, with my players, we talked about all of that game before going out for a good training session."
