Round Two: Liverpool versus Arsenal

Wives and girlfriends across the nation will be watching Corrie in the upstairs bedroom again as the return legs of the Champions League quarter-finals kick off tonight.

Arsenal and Liverpool meet at Anfield to decide who will progress to meet either Chelsea or Fenerbache in the semis. Liverpool have the upper hand in the tie thanks to Dirk Kuyt's away goal at the Emirates last week.

Benitez was sounding unusually tactical in his press conference: "We are in a good moment but I have told the players to be careful. Arsenal usually score goals away. We need to win. I'm not thinking that 0-0 would be fantastic. At the end I might say "fantastic" but we need to score and win."

Arsenal have only won twice in the last eleven games but Wenger was in a bullish mood yesterday claiming that the Gunners can still win the Champions League and the Premiership following Manchester United's draw with Middlesbrough on Sunday.

"I still believe we will finish as champions in this league," Wenger told reporters. "The result at Middlesbrough helped a lot. If United had won, I'd have thought we couldn't [win the league] but, now, I still believe we'll do it. And if I didn't believe we could win the Champions League I wouldn't be sitting here."

Elsewhere Avram Grant's Chelsea take on Zico's Fenerbache at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea lost 2-1 in Istanbul last week so they need to score but cannot afford to leave themselves open to the Turkish side's counterattacking ability.
