Ronaldo tells United he'll be back for training in July
Cristiano Ronaldo's summer move to Real Madrid looks to be in doubt if reports in the press are to be believed. According to the truth merchants over at The Sun, the Portuguese winger will be back for training with the rest of the Manchester United squad on July 10.
Ronaldo is believed to have made contact with officials at United for the first time since rumours about his proposed move to La Liga surfaced during Euro 2008. The two-time PFA Player of the Year is reported to have refused to take Sir Alex Ferguson's calls while playing with Portugal in Austria and Switzerland.
The news will be of some comfort to Manchester United fans withr mounting speculation that C-Ron's departure from Old Trafford is imminent. If Ronaldo does finally decide to stay at United it will be interesting to see if he can patch up his relationship with Ferguson.
