Manchester City snatched a late draw with Blackburn this evening when Brazilian striker Robinho scored an injury time equalizer to level the score at 2-2.
Rovers took the lead in the first half through Benni McCarthy after some slack defending on the edge of the City box. The game seemed to be all over when Jason Roberts doubled Blackburn's lead fifteen minutes before full time.
But youngster Daniel Sturridge came off the bench to score for City with just three minutes to go before the end of the game. Sam Allardyce thought his team had done enough to claim all three points, but a lapse in concentration at the back was enough to allow Robinho to score with virtually the last kick of the game.
