Real Madrid legend Raul has confirmed that Manchester City have made an approach about a move to the Premier League, but the former Spain striker has made it clear that he wants to finish his career with the La Liga giants.
Despite it feeling like he has been around forever, Raul is just 31 and the Spanish press has been talking all week about the possibility of Real's record goalscorer moving to Eastlands. However, speaking to Spanish sports daily Marca, Raul dismissed the speculation.
"It's true that there has been contact with my representative Gines Carvajal from Manchester City, but I've not considered it because I'm not going to leave here. I'm only thinking about finishing my career at Real Madrid, which is my club and where I still have many things to do," the striker said.
Raul continued: "When they told me of City's offer I didn't have a single moment's doubt. My place is here and I still think I can help the team win titles."
