Olympian Rebecca Adlington pregnant and expecting first child

Swimmer Rebecca Addlington and her partner Harry Needs have announced that she is pregnant and expecting their first child. She also announced that the baby is due to arrive in June of next year and they are very excited.
The couple just recently were wed in a ceremony in Staffordshire back in August. They headed to Venice for their honeymoon in September and Adlington is pretty sure that is the site of conception telling Hello magazine "The due date is June 4 so, yes, we must have conceived on the first day of our honeymoon in Venice."
Rebecca was keen to play down the significance of where the baby was conceived saying "We’re not the Beckhams! We won’t be calling the baby Venice." Adlington tweeted her excitement about the news this morning saying "Thank you so much for all the lovely messages!!! Really kind. Were so excited! I can't wait to be a mum! #pregnant #excited".
It will also come as no surprise that being a top swimmer that the couple have decided to have a water birth as their way of bringing their baby into the world. Needs is also a swimmer so it seems like the perfect scenario for them with Adlington explaining "It makes sense for two swimmers to have their baby in water."
