No more signings, says Alex Ferguson

Alex Ferguson has said that the chances of Manchester United signing any more players in this transfer window are pretty unlikely, saying that he is happy with the business the club has done in the close season.

United have signed Ashley Young, David de Gea and Phil Jones in the transfer window, and Ferguson says that they won't be making any more additions to the squad, despite persistent rumours that they were interested in Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

'At this moment, I can't see another addition,' he said. 'The type of player we might have been looking for is not available.

'We lost five players in their 30s this summer. That helped finance the three younger players I have brought to the club. I am happy with the players I have got at this moment in time.'
