Scolari ignores Ferguson's mind games09:43 Thu 24 July 2008 Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has ignored Sir Alex Ferguson's trademark mind games by dismissing the Scot's claims that it will be impossible to repeat Jose Mourinho's achievements at the London club. Speaking during Manchester United's tour of South Africa, Ferguson also said that while the Chelsea squad is full of experience it may be difficult for Scolari to inspire a team of players primarily in their 30s. Scolari, however, didn't react to Ferguson's comments stating that Chelsea have the right blend of youth and experience to challenge United for the Premier League title. The Brazilian also underlined the fact that pressure and football management go hand in hand and that the weight of expectation isn't anything new for someone who has managed the Seleção. |
