The Glazer family have insisted that Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale at any price. According to The Sun the Glazers are right behind Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson in his battle to hold onto the Portuguese winger.

Real Madrid are hoping that the Glazers will want to cash in on Ronaldo to help pay off their £600m debt. But a source close to United's American owners told SunSport that the debt is covered by interest payments.

Speculation over Ronaldo's future continues to mount with rumours of a counter bid from Inter Milan being reported yesterday. But United still expect Ronaldo to report for pre-season training at Carrington three weeks after the end of Euro 2008.
