Frank Lampard is the first name on Inter Milan's list of summer transfer targets according to a number of today's newspapers. The Chelsea midfielder has been linked with a move to the Serie A champions ever since ex-boss Jose Mourinho was unveiled as the new Inter boss last month.

Mourinho wants to bring in three players as he looks to put his stamp on the Inter team; Lampard is joined on the list by Barcelona and Portugal midfielder Deco and Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma.

The arrival of Luis Felipe Scolari at Stamford Bridge may see Ricardo Carvalho remain at the club but Lampard is reported to be looking for a new challenge outside of the Premier League. England boss Fabio Capello has also recently suggested that a move to Italy could help the former West Ham player's international career.
