England take on the All Blacks in New Zealand12:47 Fri 13 June 2008 England's rugby team have only ever one twice in New Zealand but will be hoping to pick up their third win tomorrow against the All Blacks. Steve Borthwick will lead a young and inexperienced England side at Eden Park, where New Zealand haven't lost a test match since 1986. But the exodus of a large number of the All Blacks' squad from last year's World Cup to European rugby has left New Zealand weaker than usual. England will be hoping to go one better than Brian O'Driscoll's Ireland side which lost to the All Blacks by ten points last week. Hopes of an England win were boosted by the injury to experienced New Zealand full-back Mils Muliaina but his replacement Leon MacDonald is no slouch. England's hopes will lie in their pack but if the untried back three of Topsy Ojo, Mike Brown and David Strettle don't click it could be a difficult night for England. |
