Alex Ferguson is looking for a long-term replacement at right-back for Gary Neville, and it seems that the 25 year old Alves fits the bill, while Fabiano would provide an extra option up front. The Brazilian striker has scored 33 goals in 38 games this season. Chelsea tried to sign Alves last year, but were unwilling to cough up the £24m being demanded by Seville, which makes The Sun's report of United offering £30million for both Luis Fabiano and Dani Alves seem a bit on the low side.
