Michael Phelps wins 100m butterfly in photo finish
It was the closest race of the Olympics, and one of the most important. And from the first TV pictures it looked like Michael Phelps had lost his bid to win the 100 metres butterfly, but according to the judges, with the benefit of underwater cameras, he'd come in first.
Ten minutes later, after an appeal the decision stood. So what were the Olympic judges seeing that we couldn't? Well for the first time they've released the split second pictures so that you can see just how close it was.
And my god it was close. Check out the pictures here. Only 0.1 seconds from the end he was still behind.
