Manchester United to swoop for Nasri?

French international midfielder Nasri has his sights on a summer move to Old Trafford, as a meeting between men in suits took place in Manchester last night to try and broker a deal.

The twenty-three year old has only one year left on his contract at Arsenal, and irritated Arsenal fans by going public on his desire for a move in an interview on French television last week.

But Wenger has already said that it is 'certain' that Arsenal will not sell Nasri to United, and hopes to persuade him to sign a new contract during next season.

Arsenal are looking to get involved in the transfer market themselves this summer, with Lille's Gervinho and midfielder Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk likely targets. But the London club will not welcome speculation about one of its prize assets, especially with French left-back Gael Clichy rumoured to be a target for Liverpool and Barcelona likely to revive their perennial interest in Cesc Fabregas this summer.
