Manchester United on the verge of crisis?
According to the tabloids and the broadsheets Manchester United are on the verge of a crisis. The team is currently lying in 15th place after four games, they've surrendered early leads against arch rivals Liverpool and Chelsea and people are talking up a lack of balance in the side.
So is it time to start writing off Sir Alex's team? The Scot's assistant Carlos Quieroz has left to manage Portugal, old warhorses Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and more importantly Paul Scholes aren't getting any younger and the arrival of new signing Dimitar Berbatov means either Tevez or Rooney will have to start on the bench.
On the plus side, 42 goal winger Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return for United and Sir Alex is sure to figure out a way to accomodate their three strikers and its a problem most sides would love to have. But with persistent rumours that this could be Ferguson's last season in charge at Old Trafford it looks like it's going to be an interesting year.
