Manchester United easily brushed aside Inter Milan to reach the quarter-final of the Champions League with a 2-0 win at Old Trafford last night.
Nemanja Vidic opened the scoring on four minutes getting onto the end of a Giggs corner after easily shaking off his marker Patrick Vieira. While much had been expected of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swede again failed to live up to the hype with an underwhelming performance.
Jose Mourinho's side created little on a comfortable night for United's rearguard. When Cristiano Ronaldo made it 2-0 on 49 minutes Inter's heads dropped and the tie was as good as over.
