Manchester City produced a commanding performance against Schalke in the Uefa Cup last night, winning 2-0 away and dominating the match.
Benjani opened the scoring for the Premier League side following a brilliant cross from Daniel Sturridge starting in the place of the injured Robinho. Man of the Match Stephen Ireland doubled City's lead in the 67th minute.
Joe Hart had a great game in the City goal, saving well from Jermaine Jones and later from a point blank header from Gerald Asamoah. Mark Hughes' side now need just one point from their last two games to progress to the last 32 of the Uefa Cup.
