Liverpool romp spawns rubbish headlines

Liverpool whacked Turkish club Besiktas in the (group-stages-of-the-)Champions League , 8-0. That’s the biggest margin in the competition’s history, and Yossi Benayoun’s first hat-trick for the Reds too.
But where have all the puns gone? The headline writers seem to have given this puntastic opportunity a miss. The Mirror online simply says: “Liverpool 8-0 Besiktas”. Witty stuff. The Telegraph goes for a slightly more descriptive approach: “Liverpool run riot to revive European dream”.
The Guardian makes a fist of a pun: “Liverpool hit back to the power of eight”. And The Sun crows: “We’re just gr-eight!”, while The Times goes with: “Crouch takes Liverpool to new heights”.
We’re not sure the best headline is in this feeble bunch. Where’s “Yossi’s giants”? “Gr-eight balls of fire!”
Any suggestions?
