Liverpool again struggled with their home form in the league drawing 2-2 with Hull at Anfield this afternoon. It was the Reds' third home draw on the trot and they needed a Steven Gerrard brace to spare their blushes.
Paul McShane silenced the Anfield crowd with a header before Jamie Carragher scored an own goal to hand Hull a 2-0 lead at half time. But Stevie-G scored twice in the last eight minutes to rescue a point for Liverpool.
Dirk Kuyt started up front on his own for Liverpool as Rafa Benitez again chose to leave Robbie Keane on the bench for the full 90 minutes. Despite spending £20.3m on the Irish striker during the summer Benitez already seems to have gone off the player.
