Liverpool a 'pleasure to watch', says Kenny Dalglish

Liverpool saw themselves at the top of the Premier League yesterday evening, after they gave Bolton Wanderers a good going over at Anfield with a display of bright attacking football. It was a sight to behold after the previous God knows how many years of dull utilitarian play, and a credit to Kenny Dalglish.

The Reds beat Bolton 3-1 thanks to goals from Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel, and gaffer Dalglish could hardly contain his joy. One would think that he'd definitely add another sugar to his post match cuppa. That's how well they played.

'It was a pleasure to watch,' he said, making sure he didn't get too excited in the process. 'We got the result because we worked hard, played together and played for each other. To lose a goal at the end maybe puts a dampener on it for 40 seconds or so but that also says a lot.'
