Last chance to get your adventure boots on
If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a bit of an athlete-cum-adventurer – but have never got around to organising that solo trek to the North Pole – we’ve discovered a great way to test your mettle. In the heart of the Hampshire countryside.
It’s by no means a professional triathlon, but the Helly Hansen Challenge Series is a fun, demanding endurance race with a difference. A total of 10k running off-road, 26k biking cross-country, a couple of kilometres in a kayak and some assault course-type stuff too. The order of sections is a secret which is only revealed on the day. The last in the series of races is set to be held on 2 December.
We’re told by the organisers that competitors need to be reasonably fit – and each member of the three-person team must be able to swim at least 25 metres.
We’re up for it – are you?
