LA Galaxy manager questions Beckham Milan deal
David Beckham's proposed loan move to AC Milan looks to have hit a snag with the news that LA Galaxy hasn't given permission for any deal.
The MLS team's coach Bruce Arena seemed to pour call water over the move: 'The first I heard about it was today but I would think, given the position the Galaxy is in and the fact that we're rebuilding our team and trying to have a successful year, it would seem very odd to me if we were loaning out our top players at the start of the season.'
Beckham signed a five-year lucrative deal with the Galaxy last year, but wants to move back to Europe to prolong his international career. The Guardian reports that England manager Fabio Capello has been instrumental in negotiating the Milan deal for Goldenballs. But it now looks as if Becks is going to have decide between club and country.
