John Terry dismisses Manchester City rumours
Chelsea and England skipper John Terry has insisted that he will be staying at the London club despite rumours that he is set to join Premier League rich kids Manchester City.
The Blues admitted this week that City made a multimillion pound offer for Terry during the summer, but the England captain has underlined his commitment to the Blues.
"Chelsea told me what had happened last year as a courtesy. I was very happy with their reaction as mine would have been the same," Terry said. "I have always said that I want to end my career at the club which I love and we all see no reason why that cannot happen. Given recent events I am more determined than ever to make Chelsea successful again."
With The Guardian reporting that Guus Hiddink is set to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond next summer, the Dutch manager will want to retain Terry's services.
