Jensen Button clinches pole position in Australia
Jensen Button has clinched pole position for Sunday's Australian Grand Prix for Brawn GP. The English driver will be on the front of the grid for the first time in three years.
Just a few months ago it looked as if Button would be left in limbo when Honda Racing decided to pull out of Formula 1. But the team was bought by its manager Ross Brawn and his gamble has paid off with Button being joined by his team-mate Rubens Barrichello in the front row.
Louis Hamilton, in contrast, had a terrible day in qualifying. Last year's World Champion will start back in 18th place after being penalised for changing his gearbox during qualifying.
