England have suffered a shock defeat to Holland in the opening match of the Twenty20 World Cup. The Dutch team showed no fear against their much fancied opponents and won the match by four wickets.
The Netherlands boast a paltry 6,000 cricket players, but managed to humble the home side who scored just 162-5 from twenty overs, failing to rack up enough boundaries. In contrast, Holland were aided by a 49 from De Groot and some abysmal fielding by England.
Just when it seemed things couldn't get any worse for England cricket they will now have to beat Pakistan on Sunday if they are to have any chance of progressing in the tournament.
