Hiddink quashes rumours that he will remain at Chelsea
Guus Hiddink has again moved to quash rumours that he is set to remain at Chelsea beyond the end of the current season. The Dutch manager is in charge at Stamford Bridge until May when he will then return to his job as manager of Russia.
But the Blues run of good form since Hiddink took over has led many to speculate that the former PSV boss will be tempted to stay on in the Premier League. The London club are in the semi-final of the FA Cup as well as the quarter-final of the Champions League with senior players such as Petr Cech and Michael Ballack singing Hiddink's praises.
The current Russia manager admitted he is enjoying working with the Chelsea players but again underlined that he will leave the club in May: "I have been very happy not just with the regular starters but with all the other players, who I've been watching and observing. Everyone is committed. But I made it very clear a few weeks ago - and again recently - what the future will be after 30 May. I don't have to do that again."
