Hart and Cahill called into England squad

Fabio Capello has been forced to call Joe Hart and Gary Cahill into the England squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Belarus after both Paul Robinson and Joleon Lescott picked up injuries.

Robinson, who has been in good form so far this season for Blackburn, is suffering from a hip problem while Lescott has been forced to cry off from the double header due to the calf strain he picked up during Manchester City's draw with Aston Villa on Monday night.

With Manchester United's Ben Foster omitted after picking up a chest injury, Capello has turned to Manchester City keeper Hart who is currently on loan at Birmingham. Cahill's impressive form for Bolton has been rewarded with another call up to the senior squad and the centre-back will be hoping to make his full England debut in either of the games.

Capello can afford to experiment in both games with England having already qualified for the World Cup but it remains to be seen if the Italian will be tempted to tryout new players or stick to the tried and tested combination which helped secure qualification.
