Hapless England get a pasting from India
While we're all freezing our tits off in Blighty, the England cricket team are enjoying the heat and sunshine in India. Well not really, they're actually getting a pasting in the first match of their one-day series by the home side in Rajkot.
England decided to bowl and the decision momentously backfired. They are now chasing 387, India's highest ever total in a one-day match against a test side.
Yuvraj Singh was the star man for India scoring 138 off 78 balls despite batting with a runner after hurting his back. If England do manage to match India's score it would surpass their 306 for five against Pakistan back in 2000. But don't hold your breath.
