Hamilton wins Chinese Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton is just one step away from winning the Formula One driver's championship after victory in the Chinese Grand Prix yesterday. The English driver is now seven points ahead of Ferrari's Felipe Massa going into the Brazilian Grand Prix in two weeks time.

Hamilton started in pole position yesterday and drove a textbook race to claim his fifth win of the season and set himself up to become the youngest ever winner of the Formula One world title.

Ferrari had Raikkonen and Massa in second and third place on the grid but neither driver was able to challenge Hamilton's lead with the McClaren driver finishing 14.9 seconds ahead of his nearest rival Massa. In the end it was a bit of a stroll and wasn't the most exciting race ever seen but Hamilton won't be complaining.
