William Gallas looks set to be recalled to the Arsenal team only four days after he was demoted as club captain and dropped from the squad for publicly criticising his team-mates.
An understrength Gunners side suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat on Saturday against Manchester City and looked fragile in defence. Wenger already has to plan for tomorrow night's game with Dynamo Kiev without seven first team regulars, so it looks as if Gallas will be back in the starting XI.
Wenger refused to speak in detail about the former Chelsea defender following the defeat at Eastlands, but insisted that the 31-year-old still had a future at the club. Manuel Almunia looks set to retain the captaincy.
