Flintoff to miss West Indies series with knee injury
Andrew Flintoff is set to miss the forthcoming Test series with West Indies after picking up a knee injury while playing for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
The England all-rounder has suffered a torn meniscus which will require an operation on his right knee. Flintoff's latest injury setback will see him miss between three to five weeks.
As a result Flintoff will miss the Tests against the West Indies as well as the three-match one-day series. The talented England talisman, however, should be back in time for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament at the start of June.
