Ferguson: I would not sell Real Madrid a virus
Sir Alex Ferguson has dismissed reports in the Spanish press that Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Manchester United to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu next summer.
Speaking of the rumours the Manchester United manager told reporters: "Do you think I would enter into a contract with that mob? No chance. I would not sell them a virus." So we can take it that is a no then.
"We just have to ignore it" the Scot added. "If we worry about what Real Madrid have to say we are not concentrating on our own publicity and the programme of difficult games we have got coming up." Despite Fergie's angry reaction it looks as if the C-Ron to Real saga is going to keep running until the player himself makes it clear that he has no desire to leave United.
