Henrik Larsson could make a return to the Premier League in the January transfer window with injury hit Everton. The former Celtic, Barcelona and Manchester United striker is currently without a club after his contract with Helsingborgs ended.
The 37-year-old is reported to be interested in a short term deal overseas as he looks to retain match fitness during the Swedish off-season. Everton currently have to make do without the services of Ayegbeni Yakubu, James Vaughan and Louis Saha, so Larsson would be a great signing.
Speaking to reporters the former Sweden striker said: "I am a free agent and have not yet decided what to do next. I have not completely closed my mind to the idea of going abroad again, so we will see what happens."
