England's cricketers struck down with virus

A blow for the England cricket team as they prepare for the 5 match series against Sri Lanka. Four of the team have been struck down with a virus, according to the BBC, including Captain Paul Collingwood, Stuart Broad, Luke Wright and Alastair Cook.

England are set to start their five-match series in Dambulla on Monday. The Sri Lanka team will be a challenge for the England side, after they reached the World Cup final in May this year.

England Coach Peter Moores remains down to earth about the set back. "We have a 15-man squad for these things and if you're going to get a bug, you get a bug." Quite right.

Sri Lanka has some of the most beautiful Test cricket grounds in the world, so we're hoping the road to recovery will be a fast one. Like 24 hours.
