England slump to fourth defeat to India
England slumped to a fourth successive defeat to India in their one-day series, losing by 19 nineteen runs in Bangalore. Kevin Pietersen's team are now facing an embarrassing series whitewash.
India's top order again proved too strong for England despite the game being interrupted by rain, racking up 166 for four in 22 overs. Yuvraj Singh was again on top form leaving England chasing a target of 198 to win.
Despite having to chase such a big total of runs, England decided to stick with the starting duo of Ian Bell and Ravi Bopara, but the gamble didn't pay off. Owais Shah scored 72 off 48 balls but it wasn't enough to save England from defeat.
