England dominate India in the fourth Test

England closed in on a series whitewash of India yesterday in the fourth Test at Lord's, after smashing through their top order with another display of fearsome of bowling.

England had declared at 591-6 after a downpour hit north-west London, with Ian Bell hitting a career best 235, and they soon took to removing India wickets. The tourists hit at a paltry 103-5, with Vivrender Sehwag and VVS Laxman going in the first four overs, and with two day's play left, there's no reason why England can't bowl them out twice.

'This was not far off a perfect innings,' said Bell. 'I played as well as I could do but I'd like to think I can do more in the years to come. I've always said I had unfinished business at number three.

'In the future, I want to keep getting myself up the order in all forms of the game. I want to show people I am a much improved player.'
