England beat Slovakia 4-0 tonight in a friendly match which saw David Beckham break Booby Moore's record as England's most capped outfield player.
Emile Heskey started the rout in the first half but picked up an injury and was replaced soon after by West Ham's Carlton Cole. Wayne Rooney doubled England's lead in the second half, heading home a Beckham cross.
Frank Lampard added a third before Wayne Rooney grabbed his second in injury time. The only downside to the win was that Heskey, Cole and substitute Peter Crouch all picked up injuries which have ruled them out of Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.
Fabio Capello has called Spurs striker Darren Bent into the squad.
